Cookies and Browser Storage
Last updated: July 7, 2026
We keep this short: kategos.ai uses a couple of privacy-focused analytics tools to understand site traffic and improve the experience, alongside minimal essential storage. We do not use advertising trackers.
What we store
- An admin session cookie — set only when our internal team signs in to the CMS at
/admin. Public visitors never receive it. - One browser localStorage entry —
kategos.lead-v1, written after your first white-paper download to remember your name, email, and phone so you do not have to re-enter them. Stored only in your browser; our servers never read it. - Google Analytics — first-party cookies used for aggregate traffic measurement (pages viewed, referrer, approximate location).
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized usage analytics, heatmaps, and session replays that show how pages are used. Clarity masks text you type by default.
What we do not use
- Meta Pixel, Facebook Conversions API, or any Meta tracking tools.
- Third-party advertising or retargeting trackers of any kind.
- Any tool that sells your data or builds cross-site advertising profiles.
If this changes
If we add advertising trackers or new categories of third-party tools, we will update this page beforehand and add a consent mechanism.
Clearing what we store
In your browser's privacy settings, “Clear site data” for kategos.ai removes everything we store. The next time you request a research document, the form will be empty again.
